Who we are

Pirelli & C. Eco Technology SpA is the Company of the Pirelli Group operating in the Emission Control Technology sector.

The Company caters to European markets with two main products designed to reduce Diesel vehicle emissions:

  • a low-environmental-impact fuel (Gecam™, "White Diesel"), an emulsion of Diesel fuel (90%) and water (10%) reducing of more than 50% the formation of particulate;
  • a whole range of DPF systems (Feelpure™), that reduce of 90% (minimum) the emissions of fine particles for all Diesel engines, both for first equipment and for retrofit application.

These solutions have been developed thanks to the synergy between the researchers from Pirelli Eco Technology and Pirelli Labs, the Pirelli Group's Advanced Research Centre.

The Company also cooperates with international public and private research organizations and some of Europe's largest engine manufacturers in order to test the products directly on vehicles.
