The filter

The filter in Silicon Carbide (SiC), developed by Pirelli ensure the following advantages:

  • High Temperature resistance: does not melt, resists oxidative atmosphere up to 1500°C;
  • High yield production: optimal thermal conductivity;
  • High mechanical resistance: optimal mechanical strength due to the honeycomb structure and material processing;
  • High filtering efficiency: thanks to the plugged wall-flow ceramic structure;
  • Guarantees the filtration of over 95% of PM particles.
